After they have their permit and attended 12 classes and are registered on schedule2drive, they can start scheduling the behind-the-wheel instruction.

The 1st behind-the-wheel instruction needs to be on a Saturday after that, they can be done throughout the week.  We drive Monday through Thursday.

The permit will need to be held for 6 months from the day they get it and be 16 before they can get their license- the DPS stamps the must-hold date on the permit for all those 15-17. If a student turns 18 before the 6 months, then the must-hold date would be their 18^th birthday.

They have 10 months to do the behind-the-wheel instruction with us.
We recommend that they do the first 3-5 pretty soon and save the last 2 closer to that 6-month must-hold date, that way if they learn any bad habits we can correct them before they take the Road Test.
